vineyard fever

Throughout the entire Napa/Sonoma adventure I think I loved Buena Vista Winery the absolute best!

I am also obsessed with this Calico neon floral suit. Perfection for a sunny afternoon on the estate!

napa valley prep

I am excited to share with you all a glimpse into our incredible tour of wine country! Napa and Sonoma are breathtakingly beautiful with perfect weather, fresh local food and who could forget the delicious WINE!

For the wine tastings and/or tours I chose a simple white pants and blazer combo. I am no stranger to the bold prints especially blazers, if you haven't noticed already! It is the perfect way to effortlessly look put together and on trend while being comfortable!

**Style Tip: I bring a pair of flats and a small lightweight crossbody bag as backup everyday when traveling. Who knows what fun (rough terrain) adventure may come along! **

city slicker

So many NEWS recently. New home, new job, new city and with that a new commute. Over the past few months I have actually come to love the subway! No parking stress, no pricey tickets and endless abundance of people watching!

**STYLE TIP: Commuters, always dress in layers! Temperatures fluctuate so much between the station, the train and throughout the day for the evening commute home. You can always add or remove pieces!**

little italy

Another sunday, another stroll through the beautiful Boston North End. Cannoli, cheese, espresso, pasta -- whats not to love!

**STYLE TIP: When living in this cold climate you are forced to wear big bulky coats. Pair your puffers with skinny jeans and boots to still appear slender!**

Sunshine Dreamin'

With this snopoloclypse in Boston dragging on and on--I am missing summer more and MORE!

Here are some of my sunshine styles that help get me through! Only a few more weeks!

Come on spring!!!

NYE is probably the most overthought look of the year! Here are a few looks I think would be well suited for some New Years celebration!

Keep in mind many of the dresses you already own with some lashes, extra bling and tights (it's cold as shit outside) are NYE ready!

kiltin' it

I have had this beautiful vintage wool Abercrombie and Fitch kilt for a couple years and I decided to take her out for a spin!

From it's leather buckle details to the long back pleating she is one of my closet oldie but goodie. Don't wait for the perfect occasion to wear that fun item that's been sitting in your closet--even just to grab a quick lunch!

barely skating by

What better way to show off a pencil skirt then getting in the way of 10 year olds on a skate ramp?

Make use of those pencil skirts in your closet by pairing them with a t-shirt or chambray top!

wearing: Old burgundy pencil skirt (similar), Revolve Bella Luxx Crepe Cropped Tee, vintage distressed boys denim jacket (similar), thrifted razor pandant, Calico Reptile Chain shoulder bag, Steve Madden Dejavu stacked leather pump, OPI Coca Cola Red nail polish

day at the museum

This past weekend the boyfriend and I revisited the scene of the crime--our first date! The ICA is one of my favorite museums in the area so we stopped in to check out the new Fiber Sculpture exhibit. One of the best parts of the museum is the HUGE floor to ceiling windows across the back wall with a stunning view of Boston Seaport!

wearing: 525 American cowl neck oversized sweater, AYA high rise skinny denim, Aldo Eleliven over the knee suede boots, vintage fox fur muff, thrifted razor blaze pendant, vintage ametrine gemstone ring, NARS Audacious lipstick

fall fashion

Fall may be my favorite fashion season of them all!

Leather jackets, fur collars, chunky knits-- what's not to love!?

Here are a few of my past Fall looks!

blossoms and bubbles

What better way to celebrate the last glimpses of summer than to embrace your inner child. What better way to do that than blowing bubbles?

Spent a perfect sunday afternoon grabbing brunch, mixology cocktails and some sun in the Boston seaport!

suited up

I can't seem to get enough of the two piece suit trend lately! So obviously I HAD to have this jeweled striped set from Calico. You can't go wrong with sets because you can break them up and where them infinite ways!

**Style Tip: Make any pencil skirt everyday ready by pairing it with a chambray shirt!**

cool in cobalt

This past weekend's adventures included burgers and beer in Somerville, MA! I know what you're thinking...burgers in a bodycon dress?! Yea may not have been THE perfect choice but per usual I worked it out!

Being a stylist for Calico naturally means I wear a big amount from the store--including this head-to-toe look!

**Style tip: Dress down any of your favorite dresses with a denim or moto jacket to be anytime ready!**

nyc recap

Here is a quick recap of my buying trip in NYC with Calico. The trip was mainly business but of course there is always time for a little fun! The city is so fast paced but it always makes for an amazing adventure or two! From delicious meals to Manhattan showrooms we never stopped!

i love new york.

kimono season

I LOVE summer, it actually makes me cringe it's already August. I try and make the most of it by spending absolutely every minute I can outside--even if it's an overpass before a dinner party!

south end stoopin'

There's no better time than summer to break out some major COLOR! Anyone who knows me knows I am no stranger to color -- especially my all time favorite -- neon! These floral co-ords from Calico have become an instant closet staple! I love wearing them as a suit, but I can also break up the two pieces and wear them so many different ways! The blazer looks killer with white skinny jeans and the shorts go great with one of my vintage tees (See my last post for more tips how to wear those bold pieces in your closet!)

Wearing: Calico Lucid Dreams floral shorts and blazer, Calico Felicity rhinestone statement necklace, JCrew scoop neck tee, Shoe Cult White Lucite Minx Pumps, Old Rowley Tortoiseshell Sunnies (similar here) Calico gold and rhinestone handparty!
